
Hello – I’m Christie Alkana, founder of The Liberated You. My work is devoted to supporting individuals in cultivating self-awareness, emotional resilience, and inner steadiness through mindfulness-informed practice and reflective inquiry.
My own healing journey began after a life-altering cancer diagnosis. What first appeared as a purely physical crisis gradually revealed itself as an invitation inward, into meaning, truth, and consciousness itself. Through study, practice, and quiet investigation of my inner world, I came to understand how mindfulness and meditation can steady the nervous system, clarify perception, and reconnect us with a compassionate relationship to ourselves and others.
Over time, I began to see trauma, whether born from illness, loss, or life’s instability, not only as a source of pain, but as a doorway into deeper understanding. Healing, I discovered, extends far beyond the body. It unfolds as we integrate our experiences, question the stories we’ve inherited about who we are, and reconnect with our inherent dignity and worth. We do not change the past – we change the way the past lives within us.
My approach emphasizes mindful awareness, compassion, and practical tools for emotional regulation and self-leadership. I am passionate about supporting individuals as they move from survival-driven patterns toward greater coherence, authenticity, and wellbeing, always honoring the innate wisdom already present within each person.
At The Liberated You, we explore the inner landscape together with curiosity and care, trusting that every moment of awareness has the potential to awaken insight, connection, and human flourishing. It is my privilege to walk alongside others on this journey toward greater clarity, steadiness, and meaning.
